A - It makes people more aware of what's in front of them, whether it be a moose, deer, a bear or a cougar. It gives them an idea of who else is sharing the bush with them. This is particularly useful for campers and hikers, or anyone in general who spends time outdoors. It's very eye opening because so many people walk over things without even realizing it. Q - What does Tracking with Terry have to offer? A - Very few tracking instructors, especially in search and rescue, have actually tracked people. Terry Grant has done search and rescue for nearly 15 years, as well as tracking people on the popular reality TV show, Mantracker. Being a ranch cowboy for over 25 years, big game guide in northern British Columbia, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories and being an avid hunter and outdoors man, Terry definitely has more life experience than book experience. His extensive knowledge of tracking and the outdoors lends itself to his informative sessions. Terry offers in-class type workshops covering such topics as tracking, sign cutting, track recognition, technique versus terrain and animal encounters.
